Your Purpose

God Bless You,

As people of God, we often find ourselves in confused states of mind. We sometimes feel unclear or without direction. The younger you are in Christ the more the enemy has in his arsenal to play in your mind. One of the most used thoughts of deception that plagues the minds of Christians is the mentality that "I have no purpose in life."
Satan the enemy wants so badly to destroy the people of God that he will use any means necessary to break our spirit. It's common knowledge that humans seek a sense of worth. We all want to feel like we are worth something to somebody. The enemy seeks to steal our sense of self-worth by destroying our sense of purpose.
In the book of Jeremiah, the first chapter explains the charge that God gave to Jeremiah. God gave him a sense of self-worth and purpose when He told Jeremiah that He had something planned for him even before he was in his mother's womb. This is true even for us! God has planned and purposed some things for our lives since the foundation of the earth. God did not create us to get up in the morning and live a life of depression and low self-esteem. We have not been created to be bullied by more out spoken people than ourselves. God has a divine purpose for our lives and includes tearing down those things that have plagued our minds.
Jeremiah was hesitant about the calling that God had placed on his life, in fact he rejected it. His reasoning for rejecting the plans of God was solely based on "his" sense of lacking purpose. Jeremiah had a fear of people and what they thought about him. Jeremiah felt that the purposed that God revealed for his life was impossible or too far fetched, but when God has stamped for great things you no choice but to fulfill "Your Purpose".
Saints of God I urge you to never lose sight of your purpose. More importantly know that God has a purpose and plan for your life, even if you can not yet see it.
